Ohio Governor's Expedited Pardon Project: Ask the Experts Virtual Event - Click Here

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives will hold a virtual event on Thursday, May 27th detailing the Ohio Governor's Expedited Pardon Project.

Governor DeWine created the Expedited Pardon Project in December 2019. Exclusively for certain reformed ex-offenders who have lived upstanding lives post-conviction, the project gives qualifying applicants one-on-one assistance and allows them to bypass the lengthy waitlist for pardon consideration through the traditional process.

In addition to experts from the Governor's Office and University of Akron School of Law, citizens who previously received pardons via the traditional process and expedited process will speak about their experiences.

The free event is open to the public.
